Therefore, Golden Travel processes your personal data so that it can offer its services as efficiently as possible and within the context of our agreement. Other processing purposes related to our services include internal accounting and administrative purposes, to facilitate your participation in any loyalty programs of the relevant travel service providers, compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations and the applicable immigration or other requirements relating to your travel, as well as other purposes that are permitted or required by law (e.g. preventing safety threats or ensuring our legitimate rights).

Golden Travel has the right to process personal data on the following legal grounds: for the execution of an agreement between Golden Travel and a customer, on the basis of our legitimate interests, or to comply with our legal obligations.

Retention period of personal data

Golden Travel retains your personal no longer than is necessary. The period depends on the purpose of the processing of the information and, generally, your personal data will be retained for as long as we provide our services or as long as is required for Golden Travel to meet its tax and legal obligations. Your personal data will be safely deleted after the expiration of the retention period.

Golden Travel takes all appropriate organizational and technical measures to prevent any unauthorized access to your personal data. Your personal data will only be provided to third parties on the basis of legal grounds, for example when information is requested by supervisory authorities or if such is required for meeting our obligations in the agreements concluded with you.

Golden Travel may engage third parties to support the services it offers (e.g. to software providers). These parties may have (partial) access to your personal data, but only in those cases where these third parties comply with the same legal and security requirements as Golden Travel.

Also, when we offer our services, we contact the relevant travel service providers and we mediate on your behalf for the booking of travel services. In this case, we process your personal information as necessary so as to provide the services you requested from us. This includes the transfer of your personal data to the relevant service providers such as hotels, airlines and shipping companies, car rental businesses, conference organizers or other providers who fulfill the services you have requested.
